Reformer Pilates Classes

Group and private Reformer Pilates classes are taught using Peak Pilates MVe reformer and tower systems. To allow for personalized instruction, there is a maximum of five participants in group classes.


This class is best for those new to the Pilates Reformer equipment and/or participants who may require additional attention due to injury or specific conditions. Classes may include reformer, tower and some mat work.


This class is suited for those with experience (minimum completion of 1 year of Pilates sessions at UM or Pilates reformer experience elsewhere) and for a generally healthy participant. Classes may include reformer, tower and some mat work, and will build upon the beginner series. These classes are more challenging and will flow through various equipment sequences.


This class is suited for all levels of experience, and for generally healthy participants. The instructor will cater to the necessary level for the class as a whole. Classes may include reformer, tower and mat work.

Private Pilates Classes

Private classes are only available to Herbert Wellness Center members, and requests can be based on time/availability or instructor preference. The Herbert Wellness Center offers both individual and buddy (2 people) private classes.


Pre-registration is required for all Pilates classes and is taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Reformer Pilates program classes are now sold in 8-week sessions. By registering for a class you are committing to the same days/times throughout the session. Missed classes will not be prorated, no make-up classes are guaranteed, and no refunds are distributed. 

Registration: Monday, August 12 – Friday, August 16
Session 1 runs Monday, August 18 – Sunday, October 13

Registration: Monday, October 14 – Friday, October 18
Session 2 runs Monday, October 21 – Sunday, December 15
