The Department of Wellness & Recreation regularly works with student organizations and University departments to host events.

Herbert Wellness Center

All requests for space reservation must be received at least two weeks in advance and all reservations require final approval by the Facilities Assistant. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, some of the spaces inside the Herbert Wellness Center have been repurposed to provide for social distancing guidelines. Outdoor reservation requests are still being accepted. Contact wellnesscenter@miami.edu for more information.

Outdoor Adventures

Space reservation at Outdoor Adventures is available for the climbing wall, sand volleyball courts, bocce ball pit, and hammock garden. Contact adventures@miami.edu or 305-284-5116 for more information.

    Thank you for considering Outdoor Adventures at Lakeside Village for your upcoming event.  Please read the information below to help us ensure a successful event for your organization.

    1. Read Outdoor Adventures General Policies
    2. Decide what spaces you want to reserve.  If there is a doubt, please visit us to scout areas before making your reservation.
    3. Determine your equipment needs prior to reservation.

      • Credit card payment is available upon request and should be included in the initial reservation request.

    Prices are per hour and are (student org / office or dept.); $50 surcharge for climbing wall during operational hours; $25 surcharge to remove sand volleyball court nets and poles.
