Instructional Programs

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates classes are taught using Peak Piltes MVe reformer and tower systems. These classes focus on building core strength and endurance, increasing flexibility, improving muscle tone, and enhancing concentration.

Aquatics

Knowing how to swim is an important life skill for both children and adults to have, especially in South Florida. We offer a variety of aquatics classes for participants of all skill levels.

Spring Adult Spring Youth

CPR and First aid

Learn life-saving skills by attending Red Cross Adult CPR/AED/First Aid Blended learning courses. The emergency cardiovascular care (ECC) courses offered by the Herbert Wellness Center are conducted in affiliation with the American Heart Association.

Belly Dancing

Whether you're looking to learn something new and step out of your comfort zone or you’re a dancer with a few hip drops under her coin belt, our Belly Dancing group class will help you get in touch with your core muscles and have a lot of fun doing it.

Tai Chi

Learn self-defense techniques from around the world in our martial arts classes. These classes are fun, educational, and provide full-body workouts.

Weightlifting

This is a beginner-friendly ultimate guide to weight lifting. In this course, you will learn the basics of the barbell and major lifts including deadlift, bench press, and squat variations.

Mat Pilates

With positive, professional guidance you will lengthen and strengthen your body for improved core stability, poised posture, and better overall well-being. Mat Pilates is a Pilates training practice that can be done on a mat, meaning, no reformer is used. In this class, you hold movements like planks, side planks, and core exercises to build your muscles and core strength.

Tennis

We offer classes for those who are new to the sport of tennis or are looking to improve and refine their game. All of our tennis classes are held on our outdoor tennis courts.
