The Outdoor Adventures bike shop is your on-campus hub to keep your bike in top condition. We provide repairs, maintenance, parts, and instruction.
The bike shop provides:
- Drop off repair services (fees include labor + parts)
- Parts sales
- Repair and maintenance instruction
- Self-service use of bike shop
Some common repairs and maintenance include:
- Brake and/or shifter adjustment
- Tune-up (brakes, shifter, chain, and wheels)
- Tube repair or replacement
- Chain replacement
- Wheel truing
The bike shop operates on demand. Students may drop off bikes during Outdoor Adventures’ operational hours. When you drop off your bike you will complete intake forms sharing what you know about any repair or maintenance. Outdoor Adventures will then schedule a student bike mechanic to perform a diagnostic on your bike within 1 business day. You will then be emailed an estimate of the work and costs for repairing your bike. Once approved your bike will be repaired in 2-3 business days in most circumstances.
Prices
Labor: $15/hour rounded to the ¼ hour
Storage: Bikes left more than 1 week after completion of work will be assessed a $5.00 per day storage fee

- Tube: $6
- Tube Patch: $0.75
- Chain (8 speed): $9
- Chain (9 speed): $13
- Chain (10 speed): $18
- Chain (11 and 12 speed): $22
