An Intramural Referee officiates and referees any and all team sports for the Intramural program. Games are played Monday through Thursday from 6:30 to 11 p.m. (or midnight for events inside the Herbert Wellness Center) and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. All games take place on the Intramural Fields or in the Herbert Wellness Center.
The only experience necessary is the willingness to learn and the joy of sports. In order to become an Intramural Official, you must attend the official’s training which takes place during the week at various times (check the official training dates to the right).
In order to become an IM Referee, you must attend info sessions/trainings on the dates and times listed here.

An Intramural Supervisor is also part of the Intramural program. These students work approximately 20 hours per week throughout the semester. Their requirements are to fulfill 1 hour of office hours per week, attend the weekly staff meetings, and to attend any and all officials clinics. The experience necessary is you have to have worked at least 3 out of 5 of the major team sports in the last year.
