We all live in an amazing location with incredible outdoor spaces and waterways. Research and our own experience show that exercising in the outdoors, especially on or around water helps with mental and physical.   • Spruance Outdoor Gym

    Our MyEquilibria equipment is a game-changing concept that redefines the workout experience and tears down boundaries between art, high-end wellness equipment, and community.  It led to the creation of ‘Instinctive Fitness Philosophy’ that aims to:

    • improve training results and wellbeing through benefits of open-air workouts
    • change the common perception of workouts being mundane, challenging and gym-enclosed
    • enable people of all fitness levels to exercise while having fun
    • make the world more beautiful with refined fitness installations that are both practical and unique

    • Exercise at your own risk
    • Please wipe equipment before & after each use
    • For use by the UM Community, however, Lakeside Village residents and reservations take priority. Cane Card required at all times.

  • Sand Volleyball Courts

    Lakeside Village features two sand volleyball courts available to help UM students get outside, be active, and have fun!  Equipment is available to checkout from Outdoor Adventures (Not available during COVID-19 operations)

    For reservations request for a tournament, competition, or other group activities contact adventures@miami.edu.

    Rules:

    • Use at your own risk
    • For use by the UM Community, however, Lakeside Village residents and reservations take priority.
    • 'Cane Card required at all times.

  • Outdoor Group Exercise Classes

    Our partners at the Herbert Wellness Center are offering outdoor Group Fitness Classe.  The classes range from yoga at the Lakeside Village Lawn to higher impact circuit training at the Spruance Outdoor Gym.
